I am an intuitive, abstract artist working in the SoWa Art + Design district in the South End of Boston, Massachusetts. I have studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the New Art Center in Newton, MA., and with the artist Margaret Gerding. I have a MS in Arts Administration from Boston University and a BA in English from Michigan State University. Prior to painting, I was a gallery teacher at the Harvard Art Museums and a volunteer at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Most recently, I participated in an invitational exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum. I have exhibited throughout the Boston and Cambridge area, including the Piano Craft Gallery, Boston City Hall Galleries, Galatea Fine Art, the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the Kathryn Schultz Gallery. I have also participated in group exhibitions at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth, Mass., the Belmont Gallery of Art in Belmont, Mass., and the QArts Gallery in Quincy, Mass., among others. My paintings can be found in collections across the United States. I am a member of the SoWa Artists Guild, Cambridge Art Association, the United South End Artists, and the Newton Art Association.
